Lannaya means "confidence.” It’s what we seek to express in our work and instill in our audiences. Lannaya programs feature a pulsating and energetic mélange of lively call-and-response singing, propulsive drumming, and dynamic, exuberant dancing — all at the most upbeat tempos! Vibrant costuming, intricate rhythms and movements from West Africa merge together within a blend of performance, education and audience participation for all ages.
