Booking the Company
Lannaya means "confidence.” It’s what we seek to express in our work and instill in our audiences. Lannaya programs feature a pulsating and energetic mélange of lively call-and-response singing, propulsive drumming, and dynamic, exuberant dancing — all at the most upbeat tempos! Vibrant costuming, intricate and intoxicating rhythms and movements from Guinea and the Ivory Coast merge together within a blend of performance, education and audience participation for all ages.

 

Whether at home or touring, Lannaya offers a wide range of artistic experiences, including performances, fundraisers, and artistic training.

 

Services and fee schedule (Mileage charges apply for sites 35 miles or more outside downtown Austin).

$500 – Benefits and Fundraisers.

Features condensed version of the full Ensemble, including drummers, balafon player, and two dancers.

 

In-school programming, community festivals and parties
$1,000 per single program, and $1,600 for back-to-back performances of the same program.
Lannaya performs 30-45 minutes of high-energy dance and music at your school or community venue. These shows are designed especially for today’s audiences. Features condensed version of the full Ensemble, including drummers, balafon player, and two dancers.

 

$3,300 and up – Public Performance/Concert.
Ensemble performances (60-90 minutes) featuring standard repertoire in theater or auditorium.

 

Mini-Ensemble performances (30-60 minutes) suitable for small audiences and limited facilities. Includes variations of the 12+ member company performing selected repertoire.

 

$1,000 and up - Solo Performances.

30-60 minutes by Master Percussionists Alseny and/or Aboubakr Sylla.
